Changing Schedule

Hello Fellow Stitchers!

We are expecting another baby at the end of June! With this big change I will be scaling back on classes. I'm sorry to not be able to support you in your sewing journeys. I will not be doing any of my small group classes starting in February. However, I will still leave the 1 on 1 lessons available for anyone who needs help.

I hope you all will be enjoying some spring crafting, as I will be as well. With another baby to sew for, I have several plans to add to my collection of baby things. The first is a little sun bonnet. Anyone who has had a small one here in Chico knows how harsh the sun is for new eyes during any season!

This cute bonnet from Twig and Tale is easy to add a sun brim and is so easy to make. Our little one who's coming is a little girl so I'm planning on embroidering flowers all over it!

Another fun baby project I'm planning is the little one's first outfit. My midwife always requests a shirt or the like for the new baby even in the summer since newborns can get cold so easily. So me and the excited big sister are planning a cute bubble romper for the baby. I'm thinking either out of a breathable linen or double gauze.

A easy non-sewing project I've already done for the baby is these cute crocheted pacifier holders. There's a lot of ideas out there for stitch patterns, but here are the 2 I made. They only take scraps of yarn and less than 30 minutes of work. Plus they are going to be used a bunch too.

Hope you all have a lovely spring!
